Conde de los Andes

Bodegas Ollauri-Conde de los Andes includes three traditional buildings over a cluster of spectacular caves, or “calaos,” as locals call them – Rioja’s most impressive underground cellar system, and a living reminder of the region’s ancestral wine culture and ancient, inherited expertise. Besides their considerable heritage value, the calaos are a practical part of the bodegas — these cellars are still used to store bottle collections from legendary vintages. The range of modern Conde de los Andes wines strikes a careful balance, rejoicing in the present while keeping an eye on history. The grapes used are sourced from small plots of old vines in selected places, and the wines offer great freshness and expression of fruit.
