Quinta Sardonia

Quinta Sardonia combines the best of tradition with research, creativity, technology and innovation. Founded in 1998 by a group of wine-passionate friends, both the winery and the vineyards on the banks of the Duero River are governed by biodynamic principles to favour biodiversity and encourage natural development. Complex viticultural processes are painstakingly implemented to achieve the perfect balance between soil, climate and vine stock. They only use grapes grown in their own vineyard. Grapes grown in the four different soil types and across 15 different terroirs are harvested separately and mixed before fermentation to create 20 different wines. All fermentation is spontaneous, generated by the native yeasts in the soils to best express the purity and personality in their wines.
