Opi Sadler’s decision to become a winemaker was influenced by his family’s passion for wine. “As a little boy, I used to see my grandfather and father engaged in their winemaking tasks, and I always wished I could one day make my own wines of which to feel proud.” With 30 years of experience now under his belt, the wines of Mascota Vineyards are the outcome of that dream. Situated at the foot of the Andes in one of the most renowned wine-growing regions in Mendoza, the vines benefit from fresh breezes descending from the mountains. The main varieties grown here are Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz and Chardonnay, used across several collections of signature wines.
