Maison Jean Loron
With a history of over 300 years, Maison Jean Loron grows 150 hectares of vines through its own estates, spread over beautiful terroirs in the southernmost part of the Grande Bourgogne. These vines flourish in here, blessed with a complex geology and a varied climate. Many of the estates and châteaux have been in the Jean Loron family for centuries, and biodiversity is encouraged throughout. Reflecting this mosaic of rich terroirs, each Maison Jean Loron wine is made from only one of three grape varietals: Chardonnay, Gamay Noir or Pinot Noir, driving a quest for unparalleled purity. Chief Winemaker Jean-Pierre Rodet has been with the company since 1975, after studying alongside the famous Jules Chauvet.
