Garofoli

The Garofoli family has been making wine for five generations, constantly updating techniques while respecting traditional winemaking methods and remaining loyal to the locality. The grapes come partly from four owned vineyards, and partly from growers who dedicate their entire output to Garofoli. Special attention is paid to harvesting and vinification, since the moment of its “birth” is considered crucial to a wine’s life. Garofoli produces its wine in two locations. The winery at Serra de’Conti vinifies Verdicchio grapes using the most modern techniques, while that at Castelfidardo produces Rosso Cònero, as well as Rosso Piceno and other non-D.O.C. grapes. This is also the site of maturation and ageing, the preparation of sparkling wines and bottling.
