Château Puynard

Château Puynard had a seven-generation history of winemaking before independent wine merchants Andrew Eakin and Naomi Murtagh bought the estate in Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux in 2016. Following plenty of hard work and steep learning curves, they carry this legacy into the future with a commitment to the environment. Since November 2017, their vineyards have been in the process of achieving organic certification. The goal is to grow the healthiest grapes the land will provide in order to create the very best wines, a true reflection of the Blaye terroir. The focus is on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, two grapes that speak of the clay and limestone soils of the right bank of Bordeaux.
