Château Gassier

Château Gassier was founded in 1982 in Puyloubier, the result of an encounter between Anthony Gassier and an exceptional terroir: Sainte-Victoire. The Gassier family is one of the oldest in Provence. For several centuries, the family’s history was focused around Saint-Estève before embarking on a new story at the foot of the Cézanne mountain with 40 hectares of vineyard. The vines are currently managed by Anthony’s son Georges, the fifth generation to work on the Estate. Château Gassier have studied the soils in order to determine the best varietals for each terroir. As such, the vineyards have been fully restructured in order to define four distinct terroirs and two primary grape varieties, Grenache and Syrah.
